“AIT is very popular in Nepal”

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is very popular in Nepal, and the Crimson College of Technology looks forward towards a formal association with AIT. This was stated by the Mr. Devi Bhandari, Principal of Crimson College of Technology, while interacting with senior AIT officials on 16 February 2011.

Cloud computing is the emerging paradigm in IT: AIT Alumnus

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) enjoys a unique position and we are exploring the possibility of AIT being an Asian node for regional cooperation. The Institute is high on our radar, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation would love to work with AIT. Talk on Cloud Computing

 Dr. Rafiul Ahad, Vice President, Collaboration Product Development, Oracle Corporation will be delivering a talk on "Cloud computing: What, Why, and How" on 14 February 2011 at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium. Dr. Rafiul received his doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1985, M.S. degree in Computer Applications from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok in 1980, and M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Rangoon University, Burma in 1975.Abstract: Cloud computing has the potential for reducing software development, test, and deployment costs for enterprises.

TSF Emergency Response Training

Télécom Sans Frontières (TSF) is organizing an ICT Emergency Response Training at the AIT Conference Center from 7-11 February 2011.Twenty nine participants from 22 aid organizations from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take part in the training.
