AIT played a leading role at the recent 2010 Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum (Forum 2010), which was convened at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok on 21-22 October, 2010.
Two students from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) are among the team of four volunteers of Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) who have rushed to Indonesia following the earthquake and tsunami in Mentawai Islands in Western Sumatra. The deployment is in response to the request of the Office of the President of Indonesia.

The Second AIT Open Presentation Competition will be held on 26 October 2010 at the AIT Conference Center Auditorium. Winning teams (one from each of the three schools) will get a cash prize of 20,000 Baht and a trophy. The runner up team from each school will get 10,000 Baht.
The Energy and Environment Partnership with the Mekong (EEP Mekong) is organizing a Regional Forum on 26-27 October 2010 in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
