Dr. Anat Arbhabhirama (WRE’62), AIT alumnus, from Water Resources Engineering, signed an agreement with Dr. Eden Woon, AIT President on 30 July 2020, at Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited, granting a scholarship in an amount of 464,000 Thai Baht towards a 24 credits tuition and the registration fees for a master’s student of any nationality enrolled in Water Engineering and Management (WEM), School of Engineering & Technology for August 2020 intake.

Since January of this year, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has spread across the world. By the end of July, the situation is very good in Thailand—with no case of local transmission for over two months, but there are places around the world, including several of the countries where our AIT students, faculty, and staff come from, which are still heavily affected.
After five years of development and multiple student theses aimed at improving the ecological health of the on campus West Lake, the AIT Student Union, supported by partner Thai Pipe Industry Co., this month launched a unique Freshwater Mangrove Museum on the lake’s edges.
The College of Industrial Technology (CIT) of Thailand’s King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) joined the AIT International Unified Bachelor’s-Master’s Degree Program on 20 July 2020, signing a specific Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the AIT School of Engineering and Technology.
Dr. Aphichat Sramoon (SE’96), AIT Alumnus, and Chief Executive Officer, TEAM Consulting Engineering & Management PCL signed an agreement with AIT President Dr. Eden Woon on 14 July 2020 to donate 1,000,000 Thai Baht towards the renovation of Student Village 1 (Building #5 & #10). In recognition of this generosity, the two buildings are now named after AIT Alumni at TEAM Group.
