The Infrastructure Office will re-open the 24-hour emergency service to respond to the emergency cases on campus after office hours, effective soon. The 24-Hour Emergency Service, manned by two staff, will perform first aid to stop the cause of damage or to continue running the system and report it to the concerned officers.

Prof. Peter Haddawy, vice president for academic affairs, announced this week that it is now possible for applicants to submit their applications electronically. The online application system includes a facility for the references to submit their letters of recommendation online as well.

Former AIT trustee receives Royal cremation
A Royal cremation for Dr. Sippanondha Ketudat, a former member of the AIT Board of Trustees and a long-time supporter of AIT who passed away months ago, will take place on Thursday 23 November at 5 p.m. at Wat Thepsirin.
Japanese Embassy moves to new location
The Embassy of Japan will be moving to its new office located on Witthayu (Wireless) Road, opposite Lumphini Park, effective from 27 November 2006.
Following the relocation, the Consular Office and the Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC) which are currently at separate locations, will be integrated within the main embassy premises.

SpringerLink: Online Journal Collection is now available for AIT community as a trial database until 23 November 2006.

1st ASEAN Arts and Craft Festival
The Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand will organize the first ASEAN Arts and Craft Festival 2006 from 29 November 3 December (10 a.m. 6 p.m.) at Bangsai, Ayuthaya.
The festival will be featured with exhibition and special activities.
