The Offshore Technology and Management Program at the School of Engineering and Technology is organizing Geoexploration & Offshore Technology and Management Day.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 31 August 2006. It begins with the meeting of the nominated members of the OTM Industrial Advisory Board and representatives of the collaborator companies and Partner Universities at room N238, followed by a luncheon hosted by AIT President Said Irandoust at the AIT Conference Center and a G&OTM; Appreciation Session at the Civil Lounge.

When the Suvarnabhumi International Airport opens on 28 September 2006, members of the AIT community will have to make some adjustments when planning their air travel. The trip to the new airport takes at least an hour, and the cost of transportation is substantially higher.

He is seconded to AIT by the government of India.

The University Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia, offers postgraduate studies to interested AIT students with graduate assistanceship and research officer schemes.

A presentation on the University Teknologi Petronas and interview of the interested students will take place on 8 September 2006 at 9 a.m. at AIT Conference Center.

ITServ conducts maintenance

ITServ conducts maintenance

ITServ will conduct a needed software upgrade on one of its main network pieces of equipment from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, 28 August 2006. This upgrade will address problems encountered with multicast video streams at AIT. During that period, no network access at all will be provided to all academic buildings.
