Masters thesis competition updates guidelines
Prof. Sudip Rakshit, vice president for research, has provided more updates on the AIT Masters Thesis Competition May 2006 as follows:
Mr. Ashok Ghosh, the President of J.K.Cements, one of the largest cement companies in India and part of the Singhania Group of companies, during his recent visit to AIT agreed to sponsor the competition.
Doctoral Thesis Presented
Ms. Wanpen Charoentrakulpeeti (UEP017019), candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Field of Urban Environmental Management, School of Environment, Resources and Development will have her final examination on Monday, 15 May 2006, 10 a.m. in Room S101 (SERD Seminar Room).
Her dissertation's title is 'Travel Paterns, Attitudes and Policies A Concern for Urban Sprawl: A Case Study of Bangkok'
Energy consumption increases throughout first quarter
AIT's energy bill indicates that there has been a steady increase in the total consumption in the first quarter of the year. From 2.89 million baht in January, consumption jumped by 18 percent in February at 3.41 million baht.
