Dean SERD succeeds Prof. Worsak in Acting Capacity
Prof. Chongrak Polprasert (right), Dean SERD (School of Environment, Resources & Development) has recently been appointed as Acting Dean of the School of Civil Engineering (SCE) succeeding Prof. Worsak Kanok Nukulchai, former SCE Dean who has completed his deanship term on June 7, 2004.

Brian Ward passed away at 72
The AIT community joins Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) in mourning the loss of Col. Brian Ward, who passed away on June 12, 2004 in the UK at the age of 72. Col. Ward worked for AIT as founding director of ADPC from 1985 until his retirement in 1992. PSSU now works out of the office he formerly occupied during those years.

The School of Environment, Resources and Development welcomes Dr. Toshiya Aramaki as Visiting Associate Professor in the Environmental Engineering and Management (EEM) Field of Study, seconded by the Government of Japan, for a period of two years starting May 20, 2004.
Dr. Aramaki obtained his B.Eng.
AITAA Research Grant now accepts application
