The Chainarong Na Lamphun Prize is awarded to NINA DONNA STO. DOMINGO in recognition of outstanding academic performance in the field of Water Supply, Drainage and Sewerage Engineering and the Hiromichi Seya Prize in recognition of the best academic performance among women students in the graduating class.

On April 9, 2004, Mr. Mitsuhiro Kohno, Principal Deputy Director of the Multilateral Cooperation Division, Economic Cooperation Bureau (MCDECB), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan visited AIT. Mr. Kohno was accompanied by Mr. Atsushi Ozu, First Secretary, Embassy of Japan, Bangkok.

The School of Environment, Resources and Development is pleased to welcome Dr. Vilas Nitivattananon as an Assistant Professor in the Urban Environmental Management Field of Study for a period of two years, effective April 16, 2004.

Dr. Vilas, a Thai citizen, graduated with a doctoral degree in Civil Engineering and Systems Management from the University of Pittsburgh, USA in 1994 and his M.Eng.

On April 23 2004, AIT held the 100th Graduation Ceremony marking the 100th event to 169 students from 27 countries at the AIT Conference Center. Prof. Jean-Louis Armand, AIT President presided over the ceremony.
