Promotion to Professor

I am pleased to announce the promotion of Dr Stephen OGUNLANA (left) to the rank of Professor, SCE / Structural Engineering & Construction Program, effective 1 July 2002. This new appointment to the rank of Professor was endorsed by the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees at its meeting on 23 May 2002.

Dr Ogunlana has been associated with the Institute since 1990. His major areas of specialization are construction economics, project management, productivity improvement, and dynamic modeling & simulation.

Alumni Relations Panel Meeting

H.E. Mr. Hemayet Uddin, Ambassador of Bangladesh and H.E. The International Air and Waste Management Association West Cost Section recently awarded Ms. Zhang Baoning and Mr. Prapat Pongkiatkul the best paper awards in recognition of their research accomplishments in the field of air pollution.
