A stellar demonstration of the research conducted by students at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is the bi-annual exhibition organized by the AIT Students’ Union, where students present their work using conference posters.

The inaugural meeting of the newly constituted AIT Institute-Level Advisory Board (ILAB), which met on 21 October 2016, deliberated on the vision and mission of the Institute, and discussed on how AIT should position itself in the years to come.
Students from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) had an opportunity to interact with senior leadership of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and participate in IPCC outreach activities during the two-day IPPC event organized at Bangkok on 14-15 October 2016.
AIT’s Dr. Thammarat Koottatep has been appointed as a Board of Trustee in the International Foundation for Science (IFS). IFS is a Stockholm-based research council that provides opportunities for young scientists to conduct research on biological and water resources in low-income countries.
