Swedish Support to AIT

Scholarships valued at SEK 12 million (THB 52,000,000) were presented by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) to AIT, as part of a support agreement valued at over SEK 22 million (THB 95,000,000) that was signed on Thursday, 12 October, at the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok.

Signing of MRCS-AIT Partnership Agreement

A partnership agreement (PA) will be signed between the Mekong River Commission Secretariat (MRCS) and AIT on Wednesday, 11 October. The MRCS delegation will be composed of Dr. Joern Kristensen, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Lars Pedersen, Chief of Public Relations and Coordination Unit.

The Bangladesh Chapter of the AIT Alumni Association (AITAA), led by Mr. Emaduddin Ahmad, President, is publishing a members' directory. To-date AIT has produced over 200 alumni from Bangladesh. Another regular publication is a bulletin which provides information on AIT for potential student applicants.
