The President welcomed members of the Reform Steering Committee who had been invited to the meeting.

B. Review and Approval of the 11 July 2000 RPC Report

Members reviewed and approved the draft report of the 11 July 2000 RPC, which will incorporate comments and suggestions, made at the meeting.

Final Doctoral Examination Schedule
Tuesday, 8 August from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in room E109 (RDGR Seminar Room). Mr. Hari Kumar Pradhan, a Ph. D. candidate in Regional and Rural Development Planning under the Rural Development, Gender and Resources Program, will present his dissertation which is entitled 'Sustainable Mountain Area Development through Eco-tourism'.

Recently, on two separate occasions, some AIT students were caught shoplifting in Future
Park. Under the criminal laws of Thailand, these students have committed offences that are
punishable by imprisonment or expulsion from the country, in the case of non-Thai nationals.
