Simonovic of University of Western Ontario, Canada, while delivering a lecture on “Managing Natural Disasters in a Changing Climate: Methods and Tools for a Systems Approach” at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on 24 March 2015.
A seven-member delegation representing the Rural Development Cooperative Division (BRDB) Bangladesh visited AIT on 24 March 2015 to discuss possible cooperation on issues related to rural development.
The visit was part of a larger BRDB study tour to Thailand to learn about the country’s rural situation and the government’s responses and strategies for development.
