The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and the Office of Higher Education Commission (OHEC) have joined forces to enable thousands of schools across Thailand to be connected to the internet for the first time.

A seven-member delegation representing the Rural Development Cooperative Division (BRDB) Bangladesh visited AIT on 24 March 2015 to discuss possible cooperation on issues related to rural development.
The visit was part of a larger BRDB study tour to Thailand to learn about the country’s rural situation and the government’s responses and strategies for development.
