Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) cherishes its longstanding cooperation with Nepal and its linkage with a thousand strong alumni who have contributed immensely to the development of their home country. This was stated by the AIT President Said Irandoust while delivering the convocation address at Pokhara University at Nepal.

Schlumberger, a Fortune Global 500 company today donated software worth 3.5 million USD to the Asian Institute of Technology. The donation follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mr. Troy Fields, Thailand, Managing Director, Schlumberger Overseas S.A., and Prof. Sudip K. Rakshit, Vice President (Research).

The newly constituted Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Outreach Council has unanimously elected Mr. Mechai Viravaidya, Chairperson of the Population and Community Development Association (PDA) as Chairperson of the council. Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has signed a contract with Netlink Software Private Limited for outsourcing of IT related services, a move which would entail a saving of 14.48 million Baht. The contract was signed by the AIT President Said Irandoust and President of Netlink, Anurag Shrivastava.

Ambassador of the Republic of India to Thailand, H.E.
