On June 29, 2007, a workshop was held on “CDM Energy Technologies for Sustainable Development in Thailand” at AIT. This is one of the activities of a project entitled “Potential of transferring and implementing Sustainable Energy Technologies through Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol”. The project also known as ENTTRANS or energy technology transfer has been conducted by an international consortium that consists of ten organizations around the world.

Old KBank ATM Card Needs to be Replaced with New Debit VISA Card

Owners of the old Kasikorn Bank ATM card (the card number beginning with 0004--) are requested to replace their card with the new Debit VISA card for free of charge at any branches of Kbank by this July 2007. AIT staff are advised to bring their ID card or passport for expat staff and bank book for the replacement.

A fully funded PhD research fellowship is offered in the DASCOSA project at the Department of Computer and Information Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

DASCOSA (Database Support for Computational Science Applications) is a research project at NTNU that aims at developing support for efficient database management in Grid systems.
