AIT finalizes accord with Western Digital
AIT recently finalized an agreement for a master's degree program with Western Digital (Thailand) Company Ltd. (WD) as initiated by Dr. Nitin Afzulpurkar, Dr. Joydeep Dutta and Dr. Manukid Parnichkun to bring together industry, academia and government in the development of skills in this much needed high-tech sector.
Online reports of KPMG institutional assessment of AIT are now available
With the funding support from Sida, KPMG, Sweden, last year conducted the institutional assessment of AIT, which consisted of two parts. The recommendations were seriously considered and prepared through inputs from responsible offices and individuals, particularly in terms of updates on actions taken so far.
New policy on the use of Doctoral students in co-teaching courses
The Academic Senate at its meeting on 31 January 2007 endorsed a new policy on the Use of Doctoral Students in Co-Teaching Courses (AA-7-1-3), which was also endorsed by the Institute Education Council at its 19 February 2007 meeting.

TUSEF/Fulbright Day
The Thailand-U.S. Educational Foundation (TUSEF) - Fulbright invites Thai students for a talk on the 'TUSEF/Fulbright Day' on Monday, 19 March 2007, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Milton Bender Auditorium, AIT.
The talk would be of interest to Thai master's students interested in pursuing doctoral studies in the US, as well as to doctoral students who would be interested in conducting some research in the US.
