Professor Said Irandoust, AIT President hosted a farewell lunch in honour of H.E. Mr. Vivek Katju, Ambassador of India and a member of the AIT Board of Trustees on Wednesday, 13 September 2006. The event was also attended by members of the Indian faculty.

On 1 September 2006, 19 students from Political Science or Development Studies, De La Salle University - Manila, Philippines, accompanied by Mr. Allen B. Surla (above, second from right), vice chairman, Political Science Department, visited AIT.

The visit was part of an educational tour to Thailand for the students whose major interest was to scout graduate schools in the region to further their studies.
