On 31 August 2006, the School of Engineering and Technology held a special occasion to commemorate the successful launch of Offshore Technology & Management (OTM), a new field study in offshore oil and gas engineering and management.

AIT study sparks safety concern in Bangkok housing
The AIT investigation found cracks and chipping concrete due to corrosion of rebar in Din Daeng apartments. AIT’s study fueled safety concerns for the area’s 45,000 residents, and plans are under way to address those concerns.

Many of you may have seen two short stories and a news brief published in early August in Matichon and The Nation newspapers concerning the termination of employees at AIT. Some of the information reported was factually inaccurate, and I would like to set the record straight.
