Royal Thai Army looks at AIT projects
On Thursday 10 August 2006, a team of high-ranking officers from the Royal Thai Army visited AIT and listened to presentations on research projects. The main objective of this visit was to determine if AIT's advanced technology might be applicable to the use of the army.

The Sumitomo Foundation has announced a call for applications for a the following grants to contribute to the betterment of human society:

Beginner's Thai offered
The Language Center announces the opening of a beginner's level Thai course.
The course runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from 28 August to 16 October 2006. Maximum class size is 20 persons.
Fee is 1,500 baht for students and 2,000 for staff to be paid at registration.
