Former AIT board member Dr. Sippanondha Ketudat passes away

The AIT community conveys deepest condolences on the passing away of Dr. Sippanondha Ketudat, a former member of the AIT Board of Trustees, on 16 July 2006.

Dr. Sippanondha was a board member from 1976 to 1982 and played a major role in shaping education reform in Thailand, as well as in the formulation of the mechanism for providing research grants.

A high level delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran visited 19 July
2006 to discuss cooperation with Tarbiyat Modarres University (TMU). TMU is a well-known State University and is responsible for training teachers to be absorbed into another universities in Iran.
