honors AIT with the next 'Bridges' event series
Prof. Claude Cohen-Tannoudji (right), a 1997 Nobel Laureate for Physics recipient will honor AIT in a lecture in the next 'Bridges' event series to be held on 08 December 2004, 10:00 a.m. at the Milton E. Bender Jr. Auditorium.

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Tongji University, China PR sign accord on exchange of information, student and faculty exchange, and joint projects at a ceremony held at AIT on 17 November 2004.

On 16 November 2004, a delegation from three universities in Taiwan visited AIT. The delegation comprised of Dr. Lee, Haw-Tung, Vice President, Yu Da College of Business; Dr. Wang, Yuan-Chia, Yu Da College of Business; Dr. Shen, Horng-Syi, Yu Da College of Business; Dr. Wang, Hwa-Horng, Ming Hsin University of Science and Technology and Dr. Mei, Kuo-Chung, Chung Kuo Institute of Technology.

A meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, 10 November 2004. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Mr. Anand Panyarachun, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. H. E. Dr. Thanat Khoman, Chairman Emeritus also attended the event.
