Mr. Deb Prasad Jaisi (M.Sc., Engineering and Applied Geology)

Mr. Jaisi from Nepal received his M.Sc. in Geology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, in 1996. Prior to joining AIT, Mr. Jaisi worked as an Engineering Geologist at the ITECO Consultant, Kathmandu, Nepal.

AIT recently discussed with Thailand's Ministry of Energy initiative project to support human resources development in the area of Energy through degree programs for staff of the Ministry and related agencies as well as educational institutions.

Environmental Workshop on GMS Capacity Building for Sustainable Development

The Greater Mekong Subregion Academic and Research Network (GMSARN) and the ASEAN Foundation (Japan-ASEAN Solidarity Fund) held the Environmental Workshop on GMS Capacity Building for Sustainable Development on April 3-4, 2003 at AIT. The workshop marked GMSARN's third activity this year.

New Appointment

New Appointment

Professor Neelakantan Ramachandran (right) has assumed the post of Chief Internal Auditor on a full-time basis, beginning April 1, 2003. The position was established with the endorsement of the Executive Committee to strengthen the internal audit function of the Institute.
