Wanted: Computer Programmer

Asst. Prof. Dongjoo Park, a faculty member of the Transportation and
Infrastructure Program, School of Civil Engineering, is in need of a Computer
Programmer to assist in the project, 'Development of Dynamic Route Guidance
System for Intelligent Transportation Systems'.

He/she will be responsible for the development of a Windows program
applying algorithms for vehicle route guidance systems using programming
language (e.g. Java, Visual Basic). Employment will initially be for six
months, from 16 October 2000 to 15 April 2001. (The contract maybe extended
for another six months).

Interested persons must have a good knowledge of/experience in window
programming.

Revealing his plans for Bangkok's infrastructure development, Mr. Samak Sundaravej, Governor of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), said that priority is being given to expanding the routes of the Bangkok Transport System (BTS) and constructing low-cost medium-rise flats.

of the Asian Institute of Technology has elected among its members H.E. Mr. Anand
Panyarachun to be its next Chairman, in replacement of the late M L Birabhongse Kasemsri,
former Principal Private Secretary to His Majesty the King of Thailand.
