The Sumitomo Foundation is now inviting applications for its fiscal year
2000 research grant for Japan-related research projects. The applicants must be
Asian researchers and the projects must be in the fields of social sciences or
humanities and related to Japan in some way.

Please be informed that the monthly insecticide spraying will be carried out on Thursday, 13 July 2000, starting from 9:00 a.m. Please keep your valuable items in a safe place to prevent loss or damage.

We have maintained a list of those tenants who do not wish to have their units sprayed.

Prof. Himangshu Paul, SOM Dean, paid a working visit to CFVG from 19-23 June 2000 to interview candidates for SOM's Bilingual French-English MBA. He interviewed potential candidate to AITCV's EMBA program. Prof. Paul held an Information Session with MPDF staff about the EMBA program which will start in August 2000.

1. Last week's OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS BOOK SALE, organised
by the Child Centre-Playschool PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) Committee
in collaboration with the AIT Centre management, enriched the Child Centre-Playschool
Library with more than Bt4,000 worth of books.
