AIT receives donation towards the AIT Centre for Global Challenges

Mr. Sittichai Khowsurat agreed to support the amount of 500,000 Thai Baht towards the AIT Centre for Global Challenges. 

President Eden Woon stated that the Centre for Global Challenges (CGC) serves as a forum for promoting comprehensive policy discourses on global challenges facing humanity, such as Climate Change, Energy-Food-Water Security, Infrastructure, Inequalities, Institutions and Governance, Technology-Public Policy interfaces, Socio-political polarization, and Human-Machine fusion.

AIT receives donation towards the Organizational Quarantine (OQ) facility operations

The AIT Christian Fellowship (AITCF) community supports the amount of 50,000 Thai Baht towards the Organizational Quarantine (OQ) facility operations. 

AIT is the first university in Thailand to have a quarantine facility that enabled the overseas students to quarantine for 14 days at AIT campus thereby, saving substantially on Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ).  The AIT OQ facility had its first year anniversary on 13 September 2021.  

Dr. Eden Woon expressed his thanks and appreciation to the AIT Christian Fellowship community for this very timely and meaningful donation.
