Experts deliberate at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) as the Institute returns home.

Wuhan Institute of Technology (WIT) has signed a MoU with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to facilitate the launch of a joint Unified Bachelor-Master’s program; promote faculty and student exchange; foster collaborative research; and submit joint proposals for sponsored research projects to the provincial and central Government of the People’s Republic of China, as well as International agencies.

Chiba University, Japan is keen to initiate a formal partnership with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). A delegation headed by Prof. Fumio Yamazaki of the Department of Urban Environment Systems, Graduate School of Engineering, remarked that Chiba University is particularly keen on a student exchange program.

An AIT Student, Mr. S.M.Najmul Hoque, who was working on the issue of rural electrification in Bangladesh, shared his findings with Nobel laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus recently. Mr. Hoque, who was working with Grameen Shakti Bangladesh in connection with his thesis, discussed his research findings to the Nobel laureate.
